• Information you submit through forms. When you submit a listing, claim a listing, request an update, or contact us, we collect the information you enter (such as your name, email, business information, and message contents).
• Basic analytics. We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool running on infrastructure we control, which records usage data such as page views, referring sites, browser and device type, and country. It does not set tracking cookies, does not follow you across other sites, and is not shared with advertising networks; we review it in aggregate.
• Spam screening. Some forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which evaluates submissions for automated abuse; when a protected form is submitted, Google receives technical signals about the submission (such as your IP address and interaction data) under Google's Privacy Policy. We also screen submissions ourselves using technical signals such as IP address and submission timing.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and operational purposes.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries and review submissions for the directory.
• Publish approved listings on the Site.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information in the following limited circumstances:

With the business you are contacting.

When you submit an inquiry through a "Request a Consultation" or similar form on a listing page, we share the information you provide (including your name, email, phone number, and the contents of your message) with the listed business so they can respond to you directly. The form requires your express consent before submission. If a listing is unclaimed, we hold the inquiry and respond on the listed party's behalf or forward it once the listing is claimed. The listed party becomes an independent controller of your information once it is shared with them; their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices.

With our service providers.

We share information with categories of service providers that help us operate the Site, including:

• The Beacon Directories platform (operated by Beacon Directories, LLC, the same company that operates this Site), which receives, stores, and processes form submissions, delivers inquiries to listed businesses, and hosts the owner portal where businesses claim and manage listings.
• A third-party form-processing provider that delivers some contact-form submissions to us by email.
• A hosting and content-delivery provider that serves the Site.
• Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection on protected forms.
• Our self-hosted Umami analytics instance, which produces usage statistics.

These providers act on our behalf and are limited to using information for the services they provide.

When required by law.

We may disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Data retention

We retain form submissions for as long as needed to operate the directory and to respond to follow-up questions. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
